Curse This Act! - Poem by David Blaine

Curse this act of the Devil, the Satan and Lucifer
Pulverising my organ of life
Depriving me of my what little energy
Leaving me depressed for those momentary flashes of joy

Curse this act My hand, My brain, My mind
Fingers etching for those rides of pleasure
Pornography piercing my conscience
What thoust gain at all?

Curse this act of the crude, the lonely, the deprived
Pushing me in to purgatory, deeper still
The hell waits for my darker soul
Should Pope be followed et al? He's a virgin!

Curse this act one final time
From which I cannot break free
My mind, my soul, my body addicted
Angels I pray to, I pray for forgiveness!
