Daddy
Daddy I miss you
Daddy I love you
Daddy I adore you
Though you are in Iraq
I can't wait 'till you come back.
It's been so long,
the feeling i have inside
it feels so wrong.
Even though you have been gone a lot.
You, are on
my every thought.
I want to hug you
Hold you,
and squeeze you tight
Every time I go to bed
I want to look at you and say,
'good night.'
I miss you Daddy,
yes I do.
I love you Daddy
I certainly do.
I want to wake up
and you'll be there.
I'll say, 'Love you Daddy! '
and you'll say
'I love you to,
Jazzy-Bear.'
I still miss you Daddy,
that you understand.
But you'll be surprise
all the fun stuff,
we have planned.
As a child, it is quite natural to crave for father's presence, particularly at bed time. Very nicely written.
