Daedalus Canopy Poem by Doris Cornago

Daedalus Canopy

Rating: 5.0

We're apart once again
And my mind is spinning
On words tossed between
Should I make amends
Or is there no excuse

Yet who is to blame
Am just an afterthought
You come crying when hurt
Then bounce back
When all patched up

Birds fly back to nests
Chickens need to rest
But the wind has carried
You far away from me
In a Daedalus canopy

Daedalus Canopy
