Daisies Don't Lie Poem by Loyd C Taylor Sr

Daisies Don't Lie

The daisy looked up at me
And said, "Don't you want to know?
Hold me close and let me help,
His heart I'll surely show."

I smiled and spoke back softly,
"Pretty friend, you've got a deal,
But I can tell you right now,
I know his love is real."

I held the flower gently,
One petal I then set free.
The truth flowed forth from my heart,
He loves me, he loves me!
