Daisy Chains Childhood Memories Poem by Terence George Craddock

Daisy Chains Childhood Memories

perceive countless small daisies
stretch across this field

grow with classic white petals
surrounding yellow sun disk

soon all classmate young girls
start picking small daisies

like elves magic craft daisy chains
splitting stems weaving daisies

daisy chains in daisies linked
fresh fragile white yellow green

necklaces free childhood delight
in ancestral echo memory journeys
