Dance, Dance, Dance Poem by Randy McClave

Dance, Dance, Dance

I promised you when you was in my belly
We'd have dance parties every morning in front of the telly,
And we'd dance to the music of my favorite shows
As we would dance away on my toes.
We would dance whenever you would first awaken
Even before my morning coffee and my bacon,
And before you go to bed at night
We will do a slow dance in the moonlight.
Whatever makes you happy makes me happy to do
So, we would always cut a rug or maybe even two
Whenever we dance will make me happy always
And I promise you this, this is not just faze.
So, when you awake I'll put my dancing shoes on
I will want to dance with you in the morning and the dawn
You'll be the best dance partner that I ever had
And you'll never make me sorry or tired or sad.
Whenever in the morning I hear or see you awaken in your bassinet
Remember this, my love for you will always be passionate
So, when upon your dance sheet you want to take a glance,
Remember this, for the rest of my life we will dance, dance, dance.
