Dance Partners Poem by Paul Warren

Dance Partners

I was thinking the other day
How things work in their own way
And decisions that you take
May be different once you wake

For the world will turn away
And the cogs interact without your say
For decisions can hold you in
To make you saintly or in sin

So here you are today
As you listen to the music play
There's one course left too
"Is you have to dance with who ever brung you."
