Students bounce around the dance floor
Singing love songs like Fred Astaire...
Swinging, swirling, bodies whirling
'Andantino' fills the air.

Hip-hop, BePop, and the style of Wrap
Rhythmic steps to the Jive and Jazz
Young boys seem to be going crazy
dazzled by the razzmataz.

Back to New York's Tin Pan Ally...
Any music will see them through
Without a care and happy-go-lucky
Tangerine Dreams are coming true.
