Dandelion And Daffodil Poem by Elena Ioannou

Dandelion And Daffodil

Rating: 4.8

I dressed Autumn

to welcome you

and you come

to bare me

with a sunbeam.

Dandelion and daffodil

to fade away

at Autumn's sadness.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Ντύθηκα Φθινόπωρο
να σε υποδεχτώ
κι εσύ ήρθες
να με ξεγυμνώσεις
με μία ηλιαχτίδα.
Πικραλίδα και ασφόδελος
που μαράζωσαν
στης μοναξιάς τη θλίψη
απέθεσαν στο υγρό χώμα
τον νεκρό έρωτα.'
