Dandelion Seed In Flight Poem by Terence George Craddock

Dandelion Seed In Flight

Rating: 5.0

with wonder fresh renewed childlike
hold glorious spectral white ghost sphere

bloom white cup dandelion
flower enfolded in mind hands

bracts reflexed curved backwards
parachute ball opened in full sphere

dandelion ghost flower head hosts
numerous white fluffy parachutes entrap eyes

small pappus parachute dandelion
seed in flight vortex ring creates

timeless span branch pappus
hold stare sight half an hour

a moment wind gust comes
birth flight flee in wind-driven dispersal

A beautiful poem with compelling imagery. Liked the title that paints a marvelous scene. The dandelion seed in flight is indeed a captivating and unique thought wonderfully versified. Thank you for the dedication. There is always joy of knowing that someone is inspired to write out from a simple and short poem.
