Dark Hallway Poem by Earl Danza

Dark Hallway

Rating: 5.0

Outside the rain is pouring so hard
The thunder and lightning just got it's start
KRAKOOM! the thunder hits something nearby
everything goes black in front of my eyes
no electricity, now we're back to basics
like back when humans were called barbarics
current technology wasn't needed for survival
things now taken for granted were then primal
i mosey through my dark house trying to find my way
then i come face to face with the dark hallway

i know there are doors but whats inside them
with a creeping fear of what they contain behind them
a refugee serial killer hiding in the closet
itching to steal a life, for a self psychotic cause i bet
what if i stare in a mirror and think bloody Mary
will she break through the window to terrify me
if only i had thought to carry a powered flashlight
but nobody can foresee this happen and which night
realize i can't and don't need to depend on technology
when I'm the one and only putting the fear in me

You're obviously influenced by hip hop. Too bad. Learn grammar and sentence structure.
