Dark Side - Poem by Yolandi Swarts

What is it that you are looking for?
What is it that you want?
The one that you are seeking
does not reside here anymore

I chased her away
She was told to leave
Her weakness caused my nerves to fray
Again she cracked and cried in her sleave

She was like a child - so helpless and frail
She was making me sick
A place to hide... to retreat was her most desired grail
Could not take it... could not even handle a small little nick

Her fear an unbearable stink
so trusting and naive
Could atleast fight back, you would think...
I am here now - a welcome reprieve!

I made you strong
Don't cry now, look what I have brought
Together we will prove them wrong
give them all they sought

There now, all is right
make sure to clean it all
Just one more incriminating crimson spot
yes, just like that, all clear and out of sight!
