Darkness Poem by Daniel Bernard Kelleher

Darkness

Dark nights creeping on us
Like the tide coming in
Nocturnal creatures venture out
Where we humans fear to go
Something about the darkness
Elderly lock their doors
Forget about evening walks
Afraid as to what they meet
Night sounds can be frightening
Youngsters playing pranks
Like playing runaway knock
Things we did our self's
