Darkness Poem by Emily Howard

Darkness

Rating: 5.0

Darkness.
The dreary silence,
The cold,
The uneasy feeling of doubt.
Swallows you whole,
In the midst of the most-feared.
Shallow breaths,
Wrecked nerves,
Hairs on edge.
Lurking in the shadows, you feel as though they lie there.
But you do not know,
For you cannot see.
Due to the
Darkness.
