Darkness Falls - Poem by Amanda harding

His torment lays forever high
This lions heart torn inside
His spirit lies dormant
Fading fast
Like a dying flame
No comforting words
Reach his hell
The skys no more
Darkness falls
Once so proud
Once so strong
This untamed lion
Begins to roar
Evil surfaces
Through his pain
Eyes of death
Hold no shame
