Like a sun worshipper on the shore;
She danced on the golden sands,
Moving to the rhythm of the sea.
Her graceful movements tell a story-
Each step- a part of her history.
While playful surf chased her feet,
Warm sands teasing underneath.
Her delicate hands in graceful motion;
Fingers telling stories of ancient lore,
A mystery willed through generations.
Her arms- soft and supple yet strong-
Gliding effortlessly through the air.
Her hair cascades like waterfall-
Each strand - in harmony
With the gentle swaying of her body.
She danced along the water's edge,
As the sun sinks low in the sky;
Wishing that the twilight clouds,
Could carry a message from her heart,
To brighten the moon's faint smile.
She's a dark-skinned dancer
Of beauty, of love, of joy, of life;
of culture and song, of times long past.
Her soulful dance with poise and elegance,
Her Aloha spirit is a tribute to the land.
