David And Bathsheba Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

David And Bathsheba

King David was a sinner.

He took Bathsheba,
the wife of his soldier
Uriah the Hittite.

Just to cover up his sin
he let Uriah die
in the battle field.

But God saw it.
God sent Nathan
the prophet to him.

He condemns the evil act
of David the King.

David repents.

He asked for pardon.
God forgave him.

David knew he was wrong, since he took his soldier's wife. Though he had sinned, he asked God to forgive him and God forgave him. A greatest poem, Dr. Tony. Thank you for sharing such a most beautiful piece from the Holy Bible, Dr. Tony. A 10 Full Score.
