Dawn Does Declare Poem by April Monroe

Dawn Does Declare

Rating: 5.0

Another sleepless night without you
Not sure what I'm supposed to do
Toss and turn throughout the night
Waiting for the morning light
Until then my eyes will try to close
My heart will pound like no one knows
And when day breaks with a glow
My heart will no longer hold my whoa
And as the morning dawn does declare
You get closer to me and I feel you there
Finally, I see those deep blue eyes
Filled with love and so wise
You hold me near like none other could do
Reasserting you're for me and I'm forever for you
