On the Yong River, as the rising sun strikes
The lonely ships which sun-kissed.
The remaining lights on the hills of Noryangjin
Fade away in the thin mist.
The glooming road's stretching and cars race
Through the dawn on the Wonhyo Bridge,
And early birds sing the morning atop
The trees by the water's edge.
