Daydreamer Poem by Stan Rodriguez

Daydreamer

Rating: 5.0

Prepare daydreamer to fly with id
that we might enjoy a journey from within

Close those lenses which focus into other worlds
where I am king and eternity's my throne

Share with me this voyage
so that we might fly a second past the moon
and two minutes to the sun

Come daydreamer, bear with me
the golden yellows of our laughter
which we will make
from the falling leaves of autumn's rain

Come see my limitless horizons where
I am monarch unto myself
and sovereign queen mother
of all my thoughts and emotions yet unborn

Come and prepare, daydreamer
come into my dream and let us fly together
you and me.
