Every morning the sun wakes up
In a careless manner; no job seems
As important as lying without any
Dreams in the cosy lap of my grandmother;
In the backyard while watering
Plants grandpas voice comes as an
Easy relief; world seems so good
While jumping into revolving pool of water;
The toothless smile has the canopy
Of safety from wide eyes of mom
Who turns a doe under the veil as
He walks slowly burden with my
Frame on his waist, smiling as if
With me time will not decay his soul ever;
Wiping of noses with the edge of
Shirt; pulling pants up from slippery
Buttocks; planning schemes with
Grandpa to play hide and seek in
The shady grove; no worry to wear
The mask of truth and uprightness;
Wish days of innocence should last forever.
