Dazzle Like A Gazelle Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

Dazzle Like A Gazelle

Spritely like a gazelle
Dearly and full of life to dazzle
Through time many faces do sparkle
For pain is but a fickle

Like journeys through hazy dreams
A narrow life; intake of joys and sorrows alike
Piled on the earth's surface like unused beams
Could've been buried into the earth's belly like used toys

Spurs in the memory jungles
Where the boy child is lost in narcotic acrimony
Society is oblivious of his plight: all swallowed up in stupid alimony
Blood, neglect and tears the inevitable testimony
