Death Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

Death

I fear no death
Those who live life to the fullest
Think not about the day they'll die
For to me fear is more deadly
Rather death's the arbiter of disputes
For the rich, the poor, mighty n' small; death settles all
Legacy or none, death is conclusive, this side of the dived
On the contrary, the grave is a reminder of the resurrection n' the judgment
And those who hold onto the grave as a mark of history
Will always lose sight of the mark of the future
