When I think of you
I stop and take a breath,
as if choking
the flames of candles
which your sky adorns.

When night falls
I think about dead stars
which flicker in vain
because they haven't
a heavenly glow.

Mrtve zvijezde

Kad pomislim na tebe
zastanem i uzmem dah,
kao da gasim
plamenove svijeća
koje tvoje nebo krase.

Kad padne noć razmišljam
o mrtvim zvijezdama
koje uzalud trepere
jer nemaju nebeski sjaj.
