<For when I sleep she comes and talks to me
Her sweet words echo in my mind for days on end
I wish and pray speaking to the devil of things to be
My eyes glow softly in the darkness sweetly dreaming of nightmares
A world where the one I love is at arms reach but far from me
I speak her name in my dreams, in my mind and ask the devil for his fairs

Every night I put that pistol to my head, wishing it was over
Every day I look at her pictures and see she is thinking the same
But I cant bring myself to hurt her like this, so I wish upon a clover
I damn god and the devil for what they have done to me this night
I cry out her name in my tears, holding my head in my hands
My heart pounds, my blood rage's and my mind fills my friends with fright

They don’t understand, a million life times I have lived to see this
I need her with all my mind and soul
as I look to the heavens for support I find none
so I look to the pits of hell and still find none
Both sides fear me, I am the unknown to the world

But my love for her stays the same with no force able to break it
Holding her picture in my mind and in my hand
At last I begin to understand as I set the pistol down
I could never hurt her, she is my one true love

I will forsake the heavens and hells of this land
Burn the gates of hell and lay waste to the towers of heaven
The creature inside me loves only her, it only understands her
I am at her will and command every night that I sleep
My soul goes to her and delivers a sweat kiss

But when I awake I see the sadness of my soul
It walks about me not wanting to return and breath me life from sleep
All I ever wanted was at her hands, and still I think that she will not understand
That for my heart is finely wanting to stop, to be with her in the worlds deep
Every day I force myself to awaken to look upon your picture once more
And now you know what has been in my mind
every time I cry, I hope my soul you find
and now I'm alone once again..........Awake>
