Dear Death Poem by Crystal Floyd

Dear Death

Rating: 5.0

How will I feel
when you knock on my door?

Will you enter abruptly
or warn me before?

When my time has come
will you call out my name?

And when I am gone
will the world do the same?

How will you greet me
when we finally do meet?

Will you put me to rest
when I cannot fall asleep?

Perhaps you will leave me
to endure my own plight

UnTil the final day when you whisper the words,

"Goodnight."
