Father God above
Fill my heart with love.

Show me the way your truth and your light
Help me know the difference between wrong and right.

Teach me your virtue, make a virtuous woman
Teach me your word Lord help me understand

Help me to know just what to do,
Help me to see what is pure and true.

Help me to know right from wrong,
When making decisions, help me to be strong.

As a woman out here, life is so hard,
Why so our men often treat us so bad?

For them we cook and we clean
Yet some of them act so mean

We take pride and joy in making man look good
Sadly, women are always misunderstood...

Father God today,
Please show me the way...

Father God above,
Please shower me with your love.

So I can go out there
Show the universe that You care.
