Dear Mummy Poem by Atasha Williams

Dear Mummy

Rating: 4.3

Dear Mummy,
My dear, dear mother,
I will never ever trade you for another,
Thank you for my sisters, thank you for my brother
Call me 10 times a day, you are never a bother. 

You are my source of life,
You are the reason I am here,
You are always there for me an my family,
You always show that you care.

Life has been a roller coaster for you,
Sometimes it was to you unfair,
But God has always been your strength
When life's crosses were too heavy to bear.

The manual on 'How to be a Perfect Parent'
Cannot be written by me or neither you,
Because there is no real secret of how to be a good mom
You followed your heart, love your children with love that is true.

I don't want to wait until you or I die,
To tell you how much you mean to me and mine,
No words can explain, nor can I complain
Sometimes you even drive me insane!

But I will never trade you for all the jewels or riches in the world,
I am proud to be your little girl.
I am all grown up now, have a little girl of my own.
Your generation will live on, you will never be alone.

So, this is the first of many little tokens I plan to give to you,
We have to there for each other, there's nothing for you I wouldn't do.
Thank you for raising me, look how big I grew.
I pray and thank God every day for a mother like you.

Love you Mummy
