Dear Momma Poem by Colette Dright

Words are many so how do we begin to express the love we feel within. We are truly blessed, grateful and thankful. Yes, we are blessed beyond measure, for God has given us His best secret treasure.
The most wonderful gift of all is the one we are proud to call - Momma.

We thank God for all that you are. You are a beautiful, courageous, strong, compassionate woman. Thank you for being our light when we couldn't see, for instilling in us to be all that we could be. When things are right and even when wrong, we are glad we have you to lean on. You have been there for us so many times and in so many ways, for some of our most happiest moments and even our saddest days.
So many times we didn't know which way to turn, where would we go? What would we do? But we always knew no matter what, we could always count on you. You are the one we can call on any time of the day, to listen to whatever and always know just what to say.
Momma, you are always there, for heartbreaks and heartaches, for birthday parties, graduations, no matter what the situations. For all the times you just being there, for your comfort and concerns, for all your cares and prayers. For the times we didn't do everything right, for the times we caused you sleepless nights. For so much you have given when we didn't deserve, for the times we got on your last nerves - WE THANK YOU!

You have been the shining light in our life that has led us through some dark, dim tunnels and we know there are times we depend on you more than we should, but you sacrifice and go above and beyond for us and for that, we are forever grateful.

Momma, you are our talking partner, our physician, our coach, our banker, our cook, our counselor, our strength... our everything!
You are "Our Rock! "

Thank you for reaching us and teaching us, for molding us and scolding us, for loving us and forgiving us.
We pray God will continue to bless, cover, protect, strengthen and prosper you all the days of your life.

Well Momma, we could go on and on for the endless and countless times you have been there as a mother and friend. We just want to let you know that we are proud to say, there will never be another, for we are truly blessed to have the "Most Amazing Mother! "
