Dear Mum - Poem by Amy Louise Kerswell

Dearest mummy.

Im so so sorry.
My life has no glory.

I said I'd stay for christmas.
But the new year looms.
I dont want the doom.

My life has to end.
Dont save me.
Im going round the bend.

Im not going to say goodbye.
Or I'll never make it to the sky.
Now I shall fly.

As you find me swinging.
Its a new beginning.

Grief I cannot cuase.
No longer a lifes burden.
