'Death' Poem by Shania K. Younce

'Death'

Death so sweet and kind. In its splendor shines the bright light. While quietly creeping upon you is death. Your embracing the cold. While warming your blood to ice. Turning white, bright, and pale. Your lips rose red. Your eyes full of life. Your hair full of beauty. Its the end of your life.

death...i like the imagery and the poetic skills displayed in this one short but informative and gothic piece. it reminds me of how death is perceived an enemy to life though none would escape the death trap; we all will, die. check out mine piece if and when i die..thanks. ntema (Botswana, Africa)
