Luscious veins, so tempting.
Dreadful cries, inside, collide.
Blood so needing, for love she wants.

I am so impressed. For someone so young, this poem was captivating, heart-wretching and thought provoking. It paints a beautiful picture of her love to belong. I can't find the words to decribe how much I love this poem. I have to show this poem to another that has her poem on this same site. Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful

No offense to you, and no personal remark upon your poems, but i think ezra pound would be turning over in his grave that you have a higher rank on the top 500 poets than he does. Well done...!

I cannot believe that you are only 15, this poem is beautiful and very thought provoking...there is no feeling like love and this poem brings that knowledge home. You are talented and have a wonderful way with words..never stop writing.

To: Young and Aspiring, By the way, LUV the poem! It's amAzing how much heart and pride in a teen can do to our minds, writing these beautiful, tear-jerking poems and proses. Oh yeah, I'm not 86, I'm just 13, I just felt like puttin' that. Lol. Anyway, this poem made me think of what it would be like to love someone, but not be able to be loved back. It's hard to get me to think about something while I'm reading it. Outstanding piece! If you are interested into writing and reading poems like yours, then you should check out my reflecting poem, it's called, 'Whoa...'. Well, all I can say is that you blessed this poem with so much wonderful insight on love, life, and death. AWESOME! Oh yeah, my name is Clara 'Fig Newton' DeStefano. <- It's also my poet name on here.
