Death In A Hut Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Death In A Hut

The night is dark today
The moon is not appearing
The stars have gone to hide
Wind is slowly whispering

Clouds have swollen to
Spread across the vast sky
From the dark grove by the
Riverside comes a faint cry

Death has descended into
A hut draped in pain and fear
The lamp needs oil to burn
Till darkness vanishes and
Path to burning site is clear
