Death In Summer Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Death In Summer

It is a flame from the sky
Falling upon burnt leafs,
birds chasing birds to
steal water for parched
wings, life has taken a
halt on the layers of
cow dung in the barns,
songs vanish in thin air
as draped in death wick
burns before muddy walls
