Death Of Morality Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Death Of Morality

The core is red
Shame has shed
One life has changed
And one has damaged

One fine day
it so such happened
One dares to say
A candle was lightened
It burnt night and day
It swayed and melted
The wax to decay
And wick turned grey

The candle was the reason
To usher a romantic season
Bathed in fragrance and hues
That awaited long in queue

The distance was killing
The moral bounds taunting
Ragging waves of passion
Engulfed sane decision
