Death The Termination Of Thought? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Death The Termination Of Thought?

fear of death is a universal theme
because death ends all mortal life;
first age causes reflections in later years

retrospection pondering in time lost years;
then death the termination of thought
the prospect the great dusted off nothing;

society has many established beliefs
speculating or claiming to know what;
eventuates after exit dead end death

the answers are preservation religious;
the answers are desires needs cultural;
the answers are eternity promised paradise;

This is very true. Retrospection is always good and healthy if you do it wisely otherwise it can pull you in deep dungeon. Very well penned. the answers are preservation religious; the answers are desires needs cultural; the answers are eternity promised paradise; ...these lines are truly insightful. Thank-you.
