Mad Men tell us
We need the latest and greatest, newest and shiniest
Gotta have it
Buy now, pay as you go
So we buy what we don't need or want
With money we don't have
Then we work and work to pay for what we didn't need or want
With money we didn't have
Did it make our lives better or happier?
Now we wonder why we are so tired?
Why we have no time?
Why we are not happy with the things we didn't need or want
with the money we didn't have
The Mad Men lied
We bought the lie
The things we didn't want or need that we bought
with the money we didn't have
Now own us
Debt is the new slavery!
