Deep In Love Poem by Lamina Ifeoluwa

Deep In Love

Rating: 3.8

*DEEP IN LOVE*
I recall that instant I had u in warm embrace
And soiled your make up with kisses on your face
Je' m appelle Jess, you said as I stared
Scribbling thoughts of a YOU my soul dared

You thought you weren't good enough
It didn't matter because I was in love
Your jokes and laughs were the best game
That sets my poor heart aflame

Kiss me with you sweet and savoury wet mouth
Notwithstanding you are a lady from the South
We will live our youthful lives away
Enjoying every moment that sweeps by each day

We would dine together and play all day in bed
Each events unfolding, echoing in my head
And if I stopped you would frown
Saying those heavenly moments why make it drown?

For we are young, we don't need much
Just a perfect me and you with a bliss of touch
The heavens could hear our voices from above
Then I remembered I was deep in love

Beautiful love poem embellished in poetic rhyme and rhythm. Lovely romantic piece, well articulated and elegantly brought forth from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Thanks for sharing Lamina.
