Lamina Ifeoluwa Poems

Appalled at my failures, reprieved in desires
Blood spilled with paranoia, actions haywire
Resented by many, all conniving moles
Like an harbinger of death, lessons toll

*The end of the beginning*

*_By Lamina Ifeoluwa_*

Slow is not Low!
Sharper in silence,
Gutted with words,
Picking up the pieces
...

*DEEP IN LOVE*
I recall that instant I had u in warm embrace
And soiled your make up with kisses on your face
Je' m appelle Jess, you said as I stared

_*TRANSIENT EPIPHANY*_

_Mentally advancing to the whispers of dying breath_
_Scents of unclad souls rot with death_
...

*TWISTED*
A friend once startled me with a question
And concluded with ellipsis, a wrong impression
He enquired if I really knew him
...

The day whispers softly and the night crawls in cold
A time when Autumn trees bleed red and gold
Stealthily we wait through blood drenched days
Amidst strawberries and bales of hay
...

The first day happened in death
And sprung up with life on the third
An unforseen fate he met
Glued to the cross of iron and lead

Neurones explode above threshold propels actions without choice
Feelings of Ascension mixed with a lift to cloud nine

_Blindlessly succumbing to what his word says_

RAIN ON MY WINGS

For salient splatters of breaths,
Shoves my devastating mind in franchise

My arms hurt to write
Neither does my palms feel right
Drifting and conflicted
Now I am someplace afflicted

The great call of the Vikings
To be answered by Norsemen from the North

The Best Poem Of Lamina Ifeoluwa

Creeping Illusions

Appalled at my failures, reprieved in desires
Blood spilled with paranoia, actions haywire
Resented by many, all conniving moles
Like an harbinger of death, lessons toll
I search for solace within my deepest fears
Harnessing each opportunity without a shedding a tear
Life stooped me low a lot, my perpetual pervert
Reminiscing my past and present covert

A prodigy I am in that dark alleyway
Bleeding profusely but glad anyway
'Pros' and 'cons' kept staring at half past eight
Anytime I stormed out on a date
A glimpse at reality subdued my face
Ever since I ignored the Lord saying *'Lower your gaze'*
Is it just me or my choices preferred? ?
As the devil struck me with sigh on a third
