Deep Inside - Poem by Lance Carthen

I feel like a runaway train
Waiting to explode
Like a freak caged up
My mind is throwed
Through the heat of a fire
My raging desire
Nobody now calls me a liar
My heart was so torn up
So worn out
Sometimes shits crazy
My minds in the clouds
My raging affliction
Is the disease of addiction
The more I try to earase the hate
The more I try to control my fate
Through all my years of tears
Through all my tears through the years
I no longer feel now that I need a belonging
These twisted thoughts are my calling
Placed to hold me up straight
Placed to keep me from falling
