E-arly Monday first of May
N-ever turns a blind eye,
N-either gives up nor goes astray.
I-t's the defender of the fold who fights against the lies;
S-word of the Lord he uses, showing the truth before our eyes.

L-et the defender of the fold
O-bliterate the enemy's trick;
V-aliant stand against faith's foe
E-xposes the deceitful tactic.
N-ice greeting is sent
D-irectly to the one without scold;
I-t's the amazing acrostic
N-ame of the defender
O-f the fold.
