Defiantly Write Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Defiantly Write

It is August 28th to be exact
No rain so far. Cloudy? Humid? Yes!
And noise & another day & one more
Pastime or research as I, selfishly like to call it;
External sounds confused, birds & industry
(The life-giving killer)

Defiance
Is a film & Don’t forget to write
A poem
But…

Life …
It has been so forever
As it will be so forever
From long past
To the day of Non-Existence
From the time of Cain killing Abel
(A parable & Fairytale)

It has always been fabricated
Killing your ride, your horse
To feed people, sacrifice
(And all shoved
With or without lubricant
Or electricity or computer
Even fat, for lighting)

Yes …

Greed & jealousy & lust
These equally powerful soldiers
In the same army-(body)
On two legs…Cain and Abel…Man …
Forever, yester-days, to-days & to-morrows
Remain the same

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was reading a poem by Glen Downie (Canadian poet; Don't forget to write... also was watching a movie, Defiance, and as it is normal of many of us... my thoughts flew while my body absorbed the humid heat...
