Delicate Balance Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Delicate Balance

Rating: 5.0

When will I reach
The stage I wish to
When people come
And ask me for help?

So far it has been
I who sought help
And reaped the benefit
To move ahead in life.

Life in essence
Is a delicate balance
Of something we take
And something we give.

If what one takes
Keeps on increasing
Conscience gets burdened
With all that one owes.

Age keeps building up
Energy level falls
Hope I can handle it
When people come for help.

I have a feeling you have always been a giver. It all reflects in your poetry. Beautiful write.

Age keeps building up Energy level falls Hope I can handle it When people come for help. I see in you the earnest desire to reciprocate the love and benefits you have received from other people. It is the right attitude. Though one may not be able to give back exactly in proportion to what one has received, the desire to do so is praiseworthy!
