Delicate Relation Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Delicate Relation

“I was down with illness”
I turned pale when faced
Such bad news about her health
I stopped taking breathe

Her absence worried me constantly
How to contact her presently?
I found no answer
So put a direct poser

It was retaliated with fire
Stiff reprisal I did not fear
“I have many things to look after”
It added more gloom when heard

Well, I decided to withdraw
From bad feeling to draw
A restrained line with caution
After all it is delicate human relation

Sometime shot gets misfired
Even if that is well intended
“Alright, recover soon” I soothed her outburst
I assumed she may not be angry at last
