Demands To Keep Fear Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Demands To Keep Fear

Fear is being sold.
And no longer kept stocked,
On shelves in darkened corners...
Covered in thick dust.

Today demands to keep fear,
Supplied where no one came near it...
Now has polished weapons stacked.
With bright lights as if idolized to worship.
