The magic of love may exist
Among two unlikely people
Amidst many inconsistencies
To shun looks and character
To last until the stroke of fate

But to sever the magic bridge
That links them together neatly
To set ablaze the boats behind
To rid them of any passageway
The anchor of their relationship

Is to set up an endless schism
With a dark cloud of dissolution
And a vestige of fateful demise
A glare at a distance reminder
A requiem for love and friendship
