Democracy Is Still Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The crowd can be paid and hired
Even questions are raised
On the fat payment
Such is recent movement

The country is hands of few families
The net work is made strong and carries
All such activities for party’s program
Such activities are not at considered as ham

Ballot papers are snatched
Voters are stopped and allowed to be reached
Some of the names are cut deliberately
Some of names added considerably

No one raises main question
Foreign nationals have flooded nation
They are used as back bone for voting
India is in dangerous zone and floating

Cyclone, heavy rain and snow fall
They are all nature’s call
No one can be made responsible
When Government is simply struggling

Democracy has no future
Poor suffer and rich get richer
Government fund is grabbed and misutilized.
Criminals are given royal treatment even while jailed

Dictatorship is no good either
There is repression and suffering
People are tortured and hanged
As power is in hands of powerful gang
