Deputy Failure

Rating: 5.0

Such ideas
as insuring a bad shooter
against a wild boar
by permitting rapid-firing guns
to the highest suicide group in the nation,

and, forgetting about the environment,
keeping the water up-Darling
and re-settling the downs
that rely on its water,

such ideas
entertain the brain
of the Deputy Failure
of Australia.

Guns are dangerous more so in the hands of 'bad shooters' and people prone to commit suicide. Or murder. Water supply is a different issue and raising dam levels may be the only answer. I wonder who is 'the Deputy Failure of Australia? ' (good internal rhyme in that phrase) .

I agree - down with guns and up the River Murray!
