Desert Weather

The insensitivity
behind waking up to gazpacho
after a dream of luxurious sweets
had poet turning over
and going back to sleep.
'If I have to wake up to gazpacho
I'll dump dream desserts;
I'll dump food altogether;
I will dream desert weather.'
