Deserts Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

Deserts

And I also wondered
if the deserts had the mind
as gold as grains of their wisdom
if they had the soul
as dry and cold as their sunless night
if they at one point
delivered a sage who could talk
for hours after the sunrise
only with his dog
